PIMS Setting to allow users to Set Discount on Pricing

Setting the PIMS discount percentage to flow through to Lentune Stock

Where you have discount percentages set on stock items in PIMS, you can determine whether or not you would like the discount percentages to be transferred to Lentune.

If you have this feature turned on, you will see the gross price and discount percentage flowing through to the Payable Contracts in Lentune,

If you have this feature turned off, you will see the net price flowing through to the Payable Contracts in Lentune, and you will not see the discount percentage.

There are two steps to set or unset this feature. We'll show you how to set or unset the required fields in PIMS and Lentune.

Set the Discount Percentage

1. Setting in PIMS

• Start at Administration > Settings > General Settings.

On the Edit Price file Manager screen:

• Click Edit Settings on the top right of your screen.
• Tick Set Discount on Pricing and click Save.

2. Setting in Lentune

Now in Lentune, from the Settings > Stock Manager menu, look in the PIMS settings section in the right hand side column

• Ensure that the field Pims nett-price payable contracts only is NOT ticked.

Now you will have the discount percentage being transferred from PIMS to Lentune with you new

Pending Stock Batch.

Un-Set the Discount Percentage

To ensure that the discount setting is turned off:

1. Setting in PIMS

• Start at Administration > Settings > General Settings.

On the Edit Price file Manager screen:

• Click Edit Settings on the top right of your screen.
• Ensure that the field Set Discount on Pricing is NOT ticked and click Save.

2. Setting in Lentune

Now in Lentune, from the Settings > Stock Manager menu, look in the PIMS settings section in the right hand side column

• Ensure that the field Pims nett-price payable contracts only now IS ticked.

Now you will NOT have the discount percentage being transferred from PIMS to Lentune with you new

Pending Stock Batch.

This now means that Payable Contracts will be created with a net price only. No discount will be shown.

Viewing the Discount in the PIMS Pending Stock Batch

When you create and approve a Pending Stock Batch in PIMS, you can see in the Pricing tab for a selected Stock item if the Discount field has been set or not.

In this example:

• In the top line was created when the field was NOT set, and the Discount percent displays as 0 (zero).
• In the second line, the item was created when the field WAS set, and the Discount percent displays as 35.
