Bulk Delete Stock Items
If you wish to perform a bulk delete of stock items that you no longer required in your system, you can use this option. This is done by importing a file of the Stock codes that you want to delete.
You can export a file or use a new file that you can create.
The columns you need are Stock Code and a Delete column. For the Stock items that you wish to delete, the Deleted field must be either TRUE, YES or 1. For Stock items that you do not want to delete, this field should be FALSE, 0 or blank (i.e. leave the field empty).
To run the delete routine:
- Start at either the top menu Stock > Stock Search, or the side menu Stock Tasks > Stock Items. This then displays the buttons that you need.
- Click Actions, then select Bulk delete stock.
- Select your file and click UPLOAD.
The process may take a few moments.
- When you see the message that the upload has completed successfully, click Close.
| Note: This process will delete the stock items in your uploaded file. There is no further warning. |
