Flag a Branch for Stock reporting purposes only.
Overview
If you have a Branch that is used for reporting Stock quantities and values, and you do not wish to have an automatic stock balancing journal created, you can set the Branch to External to prevent this journal from being created.
Branch Setting
In the Branch screen, you can flag a specific Branch as External.
- Start at Administration > Branches and select the Branch you would like to update.
- External branch: Click Yes.
- Click Save and Close.
Now this Branch will be included in the stock reports, but the automatic adjusting journal will not be created.
