Set Stock levels for re-ordering and report Stock Levels.
Introduction
You can see what the Stock on hand levels are for a Branch, and you can set re-order levels per Branch if you wish. You can set various values for re-ordering stock numbers. You can set Maximum Quantity for a Stock Item. This value is used for the Should Order, and any Stock over this Max Quantity can be reported in the Stock Management Report.

Stock Levels per Branch
You can see what the Stock on Hand levels are for a Branch, and you can set re-order levels per Branch if you wish.
- Go to Stock > Stock Details.
- Select the Stock Item you want.
- Go to the Branch tab.
- Double click on the Branch you want to check or edit stock details for.
In the Stock Branch window:
- Reorder level: Only enter if a specific stock level is required. If nothing is entered, a Should Order will be based on past sales.
- Reorder quantity: Only enter if a specific ordering quantity is required. If nothing is entered, the Quantity will be based on past sales.
- Reserved quantity: Used to hold Quantity in Branch. The number available to transfer will be On Hand less this Quantity.
- Max quantity: Used to check the Maximum Quantity in store when all orders have been supplied.
- Click Save.
Max Quantity: If you have a Max Quantity set for a Stock Item, then the Should Order won't recommend you order any more than this Max Quantity.

Stock Management Report
The Stock Management report allows you to select to report any Stock Items whose level is above the Max Quantity that has been set.
- Go to Stock > Stock Management Report.
- Report order one: Select from the dropdown list. e.g. Stock Category.
- Report order one: Select from the dropdown list. e.g. Stock Group.
- Branch: Select a Branch from the dropdown list. Alternatively you can tick the box for Stock at all branches.
- Above stock branch max quantity: Check this field to report only those items where the Stock at the Branch exceeds the Max Quantity that has been set for those items.
- Make any other selections as required.
- Click View report or Export report.
