Summary of the Daily Cash Book Procedures.
Introduction
The Lentune Cash Book module is used with a bank transaction file which you can download from your bank on a regular bases, e.g. daily. The next step is to match these presented bank transactions to the existing Cash Book transactions.
Cash Book transactions are generated from transactions in other modules, such as Payables and Receivables, or manually entered via Creating New Cash Book Transactions, e.g. Cash Book Till Receipts. Transactions will contain analysis lines that define where the cash is to be posted.
Recurring transactions can have cross references set up so they will automatically match to the corresponding bank transactions that have been imported from your bank. This reduces data entry, speeds up your daily processes and helps to eliminate keying errors.
