You can manually update the Status on Sales Quotes.
Overview
When you create a Sales Order from a Quote, this automatically updates the Status of the Quote to Won and adds the date in the Win / Loss details section on the Details tab of the Quote.
However, if you receive an order that does not refer to the relevant Quote, then you can manually update these details on the Quote.
Update the Won / Lost Status of a Quote
To manually update the Status for a Sales Quote:

Start at Sales Quotes from the right vertical menu bar.

Select the Quote you want to update and go to the Details tab.
In the Win / Loss details section on the right of the page, the possible settings you can select from are:

Remove the Won / Lost Date and the reason Not Lost and click Save: Quote is then set to Pending.

Add a Won / Lost Date and click Save: Quote is then set to Won.

Select the reason Not Lost and click Save: Quote is then set to Not Lost.

Select any other reason from the dropdown list and click Save: Quote is then set to Lost.
