The Stock Report shows your stock levels and selling prices with many selections and filters that you can select.
Overview
The Stock Management Report provides detailed insights into the stock currently held in your branch. It allows you to print or export a report with various sort orders and filters, helping you effectively manage the stock you already have on hand.
Important: This report is specifically for managing stock items that are physically on hand in your branch. Items with zero stock will not appear in this report.
To ensure accurate data, you’ll need the Scheduled Task Check And Set Stock Up To Date running. Refer to Create a Scheduled Task to set this up

Reporting the Number of Months of Stock Cover
If you want to check the number of month's stock cover for a selected Branch, you can select that Branch and then use the Over Stock Months and Under Stock Months fields.
For example, you can filter by:
- Over Stock Months of 50 and
- Under Stock Months of 100.
The resulting report will show you the stock where the months' cover is between 50 and 100 months.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. My should Order Report says I need to order an item but it's not in the Stock Management Report. Why not?
A. Check if your branch has that item on hand. If the stock on hand is zero it won't appear in the Stock Management Report. This report is specifically for managing stock you currently hold in your branch.
Q. Can I use this as a slow moving stock report?
A. Yes! There's a whole lot of filtering options so you can filter by the last sold date to work out what hasn't sold for a while. When you export the report, column F will show the quantity sold in the last 12 months so if you sort that column you'll be able to see what's not selling well.
Q. How does the last sold date work?
A. Stock will be removed from the report unless it was last sold before the date you enter. If the item has never been sold it will also be filtered out.
Q. I have an item that I expect to be on the report. The last sales order was on a particular date which was before the Last Sold date I put in but it's not there. Why not?
A. If the item was sold on the sales order and returned on the same day, that item wouldn't have been invoiced. This means that even though it was on a sales order it won't have a last sold date recorded (unless there was an earlier sales order that did go all the way through). If you don't enter a last sold date, the item will likely appear (assuming nothing else is stopping it from showing). But as soon as you enter a last sold date, it treats that item as if it were never sold and therefore excludes it from the report results.
