Export a Receivable customer's price file
Introduction
This process helps you ensure that you have the correct agreed pricing in your job management system and allows you to export a stock/price file for your customer. They can then import this in their job management system which saves having to re-enter data manually.
Export a customer’s stock price file
- Go to Receivables > Receivable accounts.
- Search for the Receivable Account that you want and double-click into it
- Go to the Client Interface tab.
- Ensure you have the correct export file format set. Changing this will change the format of the file you create. You now have 2 primary options. You can either click the 'Export stock price file' to export a full stock file in the format selected or you can click the down arrow to the right of that button and choose to export a selection
Exporting a selection will give you the option to choose from
All
Normally Stocked
Normally Stocked And On Hand
Only Stock Receivable Account Has Bought
or
Only Stock Price Change And Receivable Account Has Bought - Make your selection and Click Export.
If you have changed the Export file format, remember to click SAVE before you export, so that the new format will be used.
