Lentune's Fixed Assets module.
Overview
The Lentune Fixed Assets module allows a business to keep track of their buildings, plant and machinery and tools and other equipment.
Assets can be categorised by Fixed Asset Type, such as Cars, Trucks, Excavators, Diggers, General Tools, Office Equipment, etc. These types are all user definable. This allows you to set up the standard depreciation rates for different types of assets, as determined by your country's tax authority, Inland Revenue or Australian Tax Office.
The Fixed Asset Types are user definable, and must belong to one of the Fixed Asset Groups.
Fixed Asset Groups are not user definable. These are broad categories that are pre-set in the system:
-
-
Plant and Equipment.
-
Land and Buildings.
-
Motor Vehicles.
-
Other.
-
Fixed Assets can also be linked to the Lentune Yard module, where you can keep track of items such as vehicles, plant and equipment, etc, that are available to be booked for Projects, and where items currently in use are presently located. The Lentune Yard module also assists in determining charges for such items to the Projects they are used on.
